1. About this site

RightFitTrade is a prototype that suggests trades you might want to look into, based on the answers you give. It is operated by Origae, Melbourne VIC. You can contact us at nick.patterson@origae.dev.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You do not create an account, so using the site is the only step.

3. Who the site is for

The site is made for school leavers in Australia aged 16 and over. It is not intended for anyone under 16. You do not need an account to use it. If you are 16 or 17, you can look around and try the questions. You may want to do them with a parent, guardian or school careers adviser, and please read the note that appears if you say you are 16 or 17. The site does not ask for your personal details and does not send your answers anywhere, and it does not sign you up for anything.

4. What the site does and does not do

The site gives general information and a suggested match. The match comes from your answers and simple rules. It is not a validated psychometric test, and it has not been checked for accuracy. It is not careers advice, a job offer, a guarantee of an apprenticeship, or a guarantee of pay, hours, licences or results. Information about trades is a guide only and may be incomplete or out of date. Pay figures are award minimum rates and hours are the award's ordinary hours, taken from the sources named on each trade page and checked on the date shown there. They can change, for example each 1 July. An employer may pay more than the award minimum, and allowances can change the total. Before you decide anything, check with a Group Training Organisation, a registered training organisation, an employer, your school careers adviser, or the relevant government source. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based only on a suggested match.

5. Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal use. You must not:

• use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other people
• try to break the site, overload it, or get around how it works
• copy it for others, resell it, or pass it off as your own
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect its content
• remove or change a copyright or ownership notice

6. Your answers and no accounts

Your answers stay in your browser on the device you are using. We do not receive them. Our Privacy page explains this in more detail. If you share a device, clear your saved answers when you finish. There are no accounts on the site.

7. No payments or applications

You cannot apply for a job or apprenticeship through this site, and you cannot pay for anything on it. Nothing is for sale. If that changes, these terms and the Privacy page will be updated first.

8. Copyright and intellectual property

The site and app, including its text, code and design (other than the logo files, the photos and the typeface, see below), belong to Origae, Melbourne VIC, and Origae claims copyright in them to the extent the law allows. The photos and the typeface are covered separately below. The logo files on the site were made with AI image tools. Origae makes no claim of copyright in the logo files and does not claim a trade mark in the RightFitTrade name or logo. The RightFitTrade name and logo are used by Origae. Without our written permission you must not:

• copy or reproduce any part of the site, other than for your own personal use or as the law allows (sharing a link to the site is fine)
• change it, or make new works from it
• pass the site, its name or its logo off as your own, or suggest that we approve or endorse you or your products
• frame or mirror any part of the site

You may use the site for its intended purpose under a limited, personal, non-transferable licence that we can withdraw. This licence does not give you any ownership. If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, please email us with what the work is, where it appears on the site, and how to reach you, and we will look into it.

9. Photos and credits

The photos on the site are photos from Pexels, used as illustrations. They are not RightFitTrade customers or testimonials, and they do not show anyone who has used the site. Each photo belongs to its photographer or the account that uploaded it. The photos are credited on this page, with the name shown on Pexels and the word Pexels. Credited names: Annas Zakaria, Sergei Starostin, cottonbro studio, José Andrés Pacheco Cortes, Anna Shvets. We use them under the Pexels licence (https://www.pexels.com/license/). If you want to reuse a photo, check its page on Pexels for the licence. The Poppins typeface is used under the SIL Open Font Licence.

10. Disclaimers and Australian Consumer Law

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the site is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be available, run without errors, or suit your needs, and we do not promise any education or job outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes and availability

This is a prototype. We may change it, pause it or remove it at any time, and we may update these terms. The version on the site is the current one, with its date at the top. The site may be unavailable from time to time, for example for maintenance.

12. Questions, concerns and law

If you have a concern, please contact us first and give us a reasonable time to respond. These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. Nothing in these terms stops you from using any court, tribunal or complaint scheme that is open to you.

13. General

These terms and the Privacy page are the whole agreement about the site. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
